Fees
From 1st July 2024 our Dietitian fees are as follows:
Initial Consultation (60 min) $210
(50min + 10min non-face-to-face)​
Follow Up Consultation (60 min) $200
(50min + 10min non-face-to-face)

Follow up Consultation (30 min) $120
(25min + 5min non-face-to-face)

NDIS Clients (60 mins) $193.99
Bulk billed services (20 mins) $60 (fully rebated)
Balanced Nutrition can offer bulk billed appointments for telehealth services (to be eligible you must have a referral from your GP)
Rebates
You could be eligible for a rebate. Eligibility details provided to the right.

Medicare
We are a registered Medicare provider, you could be eligible for Medicare rebates if you obtain a referral from a General Practitioner (GP) and receive a General Practitioner Management Plan (GPMP) or a Team care arrangement (TCA).

You could be eligible for a TCA or GPMP If you have had a chronic medical condition that has been present for at least 6 months. These conditions include:

Asthma

Cancer

Cardiovascular disease

Diabetes

Kidney disease

Musculoskeletal conditions

Stroke
-
Coeliac disease.

Discuss with your GP to see if you are eligible for a TCA/GPMP. If you obtain a TCA or GPMP, Medicare rebates can be provided for a maximum of five Allied Health Services per Calendar year.

Eating Disorders
We accept Eating disorder Plans (EDP's). If you have already been diagnosed with an eating disorder by your GP, bring your EDP to your initial appointment to receive 20 rebated sessions per calendar year. Alternatively we can screen you as well to see if you are eligible for one.

Private Health Funds
Most Australian Private Health Funds provide rebates for visits to Accredited Practicing Dietitians, dependent on your level of health cover.
Before booking, please check with your Private Health Fund to see if they cover online dietetic consultations.

After your session you will receive a receipt via email with all the required information you will need to lodge with your health fund provider.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)
As a registered NDIS provider our services are 100% funded by the NDIS. If you are eligible for NDIS funding you can access our dietetics services with a no gap fee. Services are charged at the current standard NDIS price per hour.
NDIS participants can access funding for dietetic services under the following support categories:
