A fun, low-sugar, high-protein chewy lolly that’s great for fussy eaters and kids who need more protein. These gummies are sensory-friendly snacks designed to make nourishing moments easy and stress-free.
What You'll Need
- 1 sachet (9g) Jelly Lite (any flavour)
- 2 tbsp (20–25g) unflavoured gelatin
- 1–2 sachets tasteless protein powder (collagen or clear whey works best)
- 1/2 cup (125 ml) boiling water
How to Make Them
Step 1
Bloom the gelatin with 2–3 tbsp cold water in a small bowl and let it sit for 2–3 minutes until it thickens.
Step 2
Dissolve the Jelly Lite sachet in 1/2 cup (125 ml) of boiling water, stirring until completely clear.
Step 3
Let the jelly mixture cool slightly, then slowly whisk in the protein powder until smooth and no lumps remain.
Step 4
Stir in the bloomed gelatin while the liquid is still warm, mixing until fully dissolved and the liquid is smooth.
Step 5
Pour the mixture into silicone moulds or a lined container. Refrigerate for 1–2 hours until firm.
Key Tips
- Start with 1 sachet protein first.
- Collagen peptides give the smoothest texture.
- Clear whey isolate also works; standard whey can go foamy.
- Add extra 1/2 tbsp gelatin next time if it doesn’t set.
- More gelatin = firmer lolly, less = softer jelly.
