ARE YOU DONE WITH DIETING?
Years of trying hard doesn't mean you've been doing it wrong. It means the approach hasn't been right for you.
Diet culture is loud, persistent and largely unhelpful. If you've spent years in cycles of restriction and frustration, the problem is almost certainly not a lack of willpower. If any of this sounds familiar, there's a different way forward.
-
You've tried every approach going and you're genuinely exhausted by it
-
Your weight feels tied to your self-worth in ways that affect your everyday life
-
You have a health condition - insulin resistance, high cholesterol, metabolic concerns - and want practical, evidence-based dietary support
-
You want to feel better in your body but can't face another restrictive plan
-
Food feels complicated - there's guilt, rules and a lot of internal negotiation happening
-
You've been told your weight is affecting your health but you don't know where to actually start
-
You want support that takes your whole person into account - not just a number on a scale
WHAT THIS IS - AND WHAT IT ISN'T
This Isn't A Weight Loss Programme. It's Something More Useful.
The term "weight wellness" means different things to different people - so let's be clear about what we offer and why.
Health, not a number We don't use weight as the primary measure of your health or progress. Metabolic markers, energy levels, eating patterns, relationship with food and how you feel day to day are far more meaningful indicators of wellbeing - and they're what we focus on.
Sustainable nourishment over restriction Chronic restriction doesn't work long-term. The evidence is clear on this. What does work is building consistent, enjoyable eating habits that nourish your body, stabilise your energy and support your metabolic health - without cutting out entire food groups or counting everything you eat.
Your history matters If you have a history of disordered eating or a difficult relationship with food, we take that seriously. We work within a weight-inclusive, non-shame framework - and we will never recommend an approach that risks your relationship with food and eating for the sake of a number.
OUR APPROACH
Evidence-based. Individually Tailored. Completely Free Of Diet Culture.
We take the time to understand your full health picture before making any recommendations. That means looking at your metabolic health markers, eating patterns, lifestyle, history with food and what's actually realistic for your life - not what works in theory.
We don't prescribe rigid meal plans or calorie targets. We build practical, sustainable eating habits together - and we adjust them as your body, circumstances and goals evolve. Some clients come to us with specific metabolic health goals. Others simply want to feel more comfortable and consistent in how they eat. Both are completely valid reasons to seek support.
We also work alongside your GP or specialist where relevant - particularly for women managing weight concerns alongside PCOS, insulin resistance, thyroid conditions or other hormonal factors.
Supporting Pillars:
-
Weight-inclusive and non-shame framework
-
Evidence-based metabolic nutrition
-
No calorie targets or rigid meal plans
-
Focus on sustainable habits over quick results
-
Sensitive to disordered eating history
-
Coordinated with your GP or specialist where relevant

HOW IT WORKS
What Your First Appointment Involves
Your first session is 60 minutes. We'll take a thorough history of your current eating patterns, health background, metabolic concerns and what's brought you here. There are no mandatory weigh-ins and no judgement about what you've tried before.
We'll leave your first session with a clear, honest picture of where things are and a realistic starting point - not an overwhelming list of changes, and not a rigid plan you can't sustain. Progress is reviewed regularly and the plan adapts as your body responds.

-
Private health insurance - Many Extras policies cover dietitian consultations. Rebate amounts vary, so it's worth a quick call to your fund ahead of your appointment.

GOOD TO KNOW
Questions People Often Ask About Weight Wellness
Not in the traditional sense. We don't run a weight loss programme, prescribe calorie targets or focus on weight as the primary measure of your health. Our focus is on metabolic health, sustainable nourishment and how you feel. For some people, that may include changes in weight over time - but that's a byproduct of better health habits, not the goal we're chasing.
This is an important question and we're glad you're asking it. We work within a weight-inclusive, non-shame framework and take any history of disordered eating very seriously. We'll never recommend an approach that risks your relationship with food. If you're unsure whether this is the right place to start, get in touch and we'll help you figure out what kind of support would be most appropriate.
Yes. Weight and metabolic health are deeply intertwined with hormonal conditions like PCOS and thyroid concerns. We take a whole-body, hormone-informed approach and can address both the metabolic and hormonal dimensions of your situation in one plan. You might also find our PCOS & Endometriosis page useful.
No. You can book directly without a GP referral. If your GP has issued a Chronic Disease Management Plan or has relevant blood results, bring those along - they're useful context.
As Accredited Practising Dietitians, we have clinical training in medical nutrition therapy, metabolic health and the relationship between nutrition and chronic disease. We're qualified to assess and address specific medical conditions through diet - something a health coach or personal trainer is not trained to do.
